Henna Powder

Descrpition

The sun dried and powdered leaf of the evergreen tropical shrub, Henna, is a distinctly Indian way to get a body-friendly tatoo. No Indian bridal make-up is complete without the detailed and intricately artistic application of Henna on the bride’s palms and feet.

Usage

Directions for use:

To get the best result prepare a thick paste with tea water, tamarind water, a few drops of lime and Nilgiri oil (Eucalyptus). Keep for 2 hours. Prepare cones of butter paper. Put the paste inside. Cut the tip of the cone to get the desired thickness for the line drawn. While applying, whichever area gets dried up apply lime juice using a ball of cotton. Apply lime juice often to keep the paste from drying.

After 4 hours remove the mixture with a blunt knife. Dry fry a few cloves on a gridle and take the fumes on the hands. Apply coconut oil on the hand. To get the best result do not wash hands for 8-10 hours.
